Thanks for last night, Bob
Yesterday evening’s get together with Bob from Brockley and friends was very nice indeed. I’m now able to put voices to the words of Francis, Michael, Jams, Mira, Daniel, Max, Jim, Carl and more. Many thanks to our generous host for bringing us together.
I’m not at liberty to relate details of the discussion, but to get a hint of the atmosphere, have a read of Uncle Eddie’s post on The Philosophy Boys.

It was an excellent evening and an utter pleasure to meet you Kellie
And a great pleasure to talk with you as well, Jams. The walk home was longer than I remembered, though filled with interesting diversions, such as the sudden impressive demonstration of fisticuffs on Upper Street.
T'was very nice to meet you too - Just like the philosophy boys blog entry as I recall
Yes, and though I don't remember talking to Stalin's dog, I'm sure I saw it in the corner just before the room started to spin.
Thanks for coming. It was great to meet you. Am intrigued by the fisticuffs on Old Street. My journey home (alternating buses and walking, and including a kebab) was arduous, but sounds less so than yours. Let's do it again some time!
I saw it outside a bar on Upper Street and it only lasted a moment before bouncers intervened. The man's verbal incoherence made quite a contrast with the fluency of that sudden punch, sending his victim flying across in front of me.
Hope the kebab was good. The smells from the takeaways on my route were not at all tempting.
And definitely, yes, let's meet again, sooner rather than later.
Jams, Bob, Kellie, glad you got home OK.
Cool Runnings!
