Found perched in a French farmhouse.

What a delightful selection. I'm happy just to watch the genocide (rather more than a murder) of crows that live on my street!

What's happening with the crows, Jams?

More holiday bird and stick spotting to come.

Ah nothing wrong with them. I meant a genocide to indicate that there are loads of them... A genocide being a bigger collective noun than a murder!

Ah, you got me again there Jams, my education once again shown to be lacking. Unfortunately a murder of crows was not included amongst the collective animal nouns listed in my old Dublin Zoo Guide, though it does have an exaltation of larks, which is lovely.
